We're so proud of Roma and her horse "Blazed and Amazed" (aka Blueberry) on their strong showing at the AQHA Congress this past fall. Blueberry was 6th in Green Western Riding, 6th in NSBA Green Western Riding, 6th in Junior Western Riding, and 6th in NSBA Junior Western Riding with Chris Jones of Chris Jones Performance Horses of Indiana. GREAT JOB!! |

A big congratulations to Monte Hamilton and his horse "Flamin Hot Chex" with their two wins recently...one in Open Reining under both judges, and the other in Amateur Reining at the recent Iowa State Fair Quarter Horse Show. He also got 2-2nd's in Western Riding, 2-2nd's and 2-3rd's in Performance Halter PLUS his horse WON the Senior Cowgirl Queen Contest with 86 entered! Great job Monte! He will receive a "Fast Fifty" check for his great show. |

Congratulations Carol Grimes and her horse "Good Intuition" on receiving the ARHA payback award for the Senior Western Pleasure at the recent Rock Star Futurity. Bob MacDonald was the exhibitor. Carol is the winner of the $400 purse for our Sr. WP class. |

| Reichert awards have been mailed out. Congratulations to Mark and Nina Baker and their daughter Shayla Whitaker (exhibitor) and their horse LEAGUERS GONE ROAN on their highest placing roan award in the halter class ($150). They had a HUGE show with their horse winning 3 Circuit Champion awards, and 2 High Point All Around titles. Great job!! David Lackey and exhibitor Chase Lackey also had a great Reichert on WOLFPACK RANGER with their final placing in the 3YO NP Open WP being awarded $500. In the Open LL Western Pleasure Horse there were two roans in the final placings. Hopeing Tobe Noticed, owned by Cindy Stephens and shown by Terry Cross was 4th in the finals winning the 1st placing for the ARHA award money- $300. Placing 10th in the class final placings(2nd in the ARHA placings) was Karen Zarda's horse GOOD GIRLS DONT IRON with Troy Compton the exhibitor-$200. |
