CHEVY METAL
CHEVY METAL, aka Ozzy was a colt I couldn't pass up. With his personality, conformation and movement, he stood out as a superior foal. He is living up to our dreams and more. With his flat- kneed, sweepy jog and a deep-hocked, rocking horse lope, combined with his natural head set, it is amazing to watch him move. Naturally slow, he was bred for WP. As an added bonus, with his great shoulder, we have witnessed a gorgeous trot. We feel he will be a stallion that will be sought after by both WP and English breeders. An added appeal is his gorgeous, eye catching BAY ROAN color.
He has the bloodlines: CHEVY METAL, bay roan son of OHK Krymsun Zip, "Chevy" (AQHA Superior Open WP, NSBA, AQHA Champion WP, Trail. World Show Finalist 2yo WP, Congress Top 5 3yo Snaffle Bit, 13 AQHA Open All Around Champion Award Titles) Sire of Congress top 5 placings, Reichert Reserve Champion and Top 5 placing, Tom Powers Reserve Champion and Top 5 placing and multiple Futurity Champions with his oldest foal crop age 3. By One Hot Krymsun (3x AQHA World Champion, 4x Congress champion, AQHA Leading Sire 2008, 2009.) Out of Goodbars Perfection, daughter of Ima Zippo Good Bar (MQHA Sire of the Year 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007). Sire of 46 register of merit earners, 14 AQHA Superior Horses in WP, HUS, Trail, SMS).
He has the personality:
To say CHEVY METAL is quiet would be an understatement. He is so sweet and well-behaved that everyone that meets him is amazed that he is a stallion. To date, he has been trained solely and shown only by my son, who is an amateur. He will also break him to ride. It is uncanny how easy he is to train. His sire had the same trainability. It will be a great quality to pass on to his foals.
He has the conformation:
CHEVY METAL has balanced conformation. He is pretty-headed, good-boned, short-backed, low-hocked and has a strong hip, great topline and correct shoulder. He is a natural athlete. He strings to be 16 hands.
He has the future:
Keep your eye on this young stallion to stand at stud after completing his show career.
CHEVY METAL has the qualities you will want for your future foals.
